• Location

  We are located in the heart of Overton Park in Midtown, Memphis. To find us, enter the park from one of the Poplar Avenue entrances and follow the wayfinding signs that directs you to the Shell.

  You cannot access the Shell from the East Parkway side of the park.

  Our address is 1928 Poplar Avenue, Memphis, TN 38104.

• Seating

  All seating is general admission (GA) lawn seating. Bring enough lawn chairs/blankets for your party to sit comfortably.

  Space is available on a first come, first serve basis. Doors open at 5:30pm.

  Please keep designated ADA accessible seating areas open for patrons who need them.

• Parking

  There is no designated parking lot for the Overton Park Shell.*

  Ride sharing and carpooling are STRONGLY ENCOURAGED!

  Free (but limited) parking available throughout Overton Park. Be mindful of tow away zones and fire lanes. No parking on the grass.

  Street parking available in surrounding neighborhoods (except on Kenilworth Pl.) Do not block private driveways or park on private property.

  *Designated ADA parking spaces are available near both venue entrances.

• Ticketing + Entry

  Ticketmaster is the official platform for ticket purchases. We cannot guarantee tickets purchased on any other platform are legitimate.

  Tickets must be downloaded to your mobile wallet (Apple/Google Wallet) or Ticketmaster app prior to the event.

  Screenshots, confirmation emails, and print-outs are not valid tickets.

  Free entry for children 4 & under

  There are 2 venue entrances/box office location:

  BOX OFFICE 1: VETERANS DRIVE (NEAR ZOO ENTRANCE)

  BOX OFFICE 2: MUSEUM DRIVE (BEHIND MEMPHIS BROOKS MUSEUM OF ART)

  Please have your tickets ready to scan when arriving at the entrance.

  Will call is located at the box office table near each entrance.

• Food + Beverage

  Outside food + beverage is prohibited at ticketed events.

  Food trucks and Jaguar Shell Bar located in AutoZone Food & Beverage Concourse

  Additional bars located throughout the venue (see map). Additional food vendor located at the top of the hill (see map).

  You may bring an empty, refillable water bottle to use at our water refill stations (see map).

• Permitted + Prohibited Items

  Permitted items include:

  • Lawn chairs

  • Blankets 8'x10' or smaller

  • Bug spray

  • Sunscreen

  • An empty, refillable water bottle

  Prohibited items include:

  • Tents, canopies, and umbrellas

  • Pets

  • Outside food and beverage

  • Inflatables

  • Coolers

  • Fireworks

  • Weapons

  • Drugs

  Large bags will be checked by security prior to entry.
