Originally from Mexico City and now sharing their passion for music in Memphis, Los Kumbia Brotherz are a cumbia-style group bringing rhythm, energy, and Latin flavor to every performance. With music that gets people dancing and celebrating together, they aim to connect with audiences and share their love for cumbia through every show.

Mala Leche
Originario de Los Ángeles, California, y con raíces salvadoreñas, Mala Leche es diseñador gráfico, muralista y DJ, fusionando las expresiones artísticas de la subcultura chicana con el orgullo de Memphis y creando una comunidad de jóvenes artistas latinos. Sus mezclas musicales destacan ritmos con una fuerte esencia cultural como la cumbia, merengue, punta y reggaetón.
Originally from L.os Angeles, CALIFORNIA with Salvadoran ROOTS, Mala Leche is a graphic designer, muralist, and DJ blending the Chicanx subcultural art forms with Memphis pride and curating a community of young Latinx artists. His mixes consist of heavy cultural music like cumbia, merengue, punta, AND reggaeton.

Danza Azteca Xochiquetzal
Celebrando la cultura, la historia y la tradición a través del movimiento, Danza Azteca Xochiquetzal lleva al escenario el arte ancestral de la danza tradicional azteca. A través de vestuarios tradicionales, ritmos ceremoniales y movimientos llenos de significado, el grupo honra tradiciones indígenas transmitidas de generación en generación, compartiendo la riqueza y el orgullo de la herencia cultural mexicana con la comunidad.
Celebrating culture, history, and tradition through movement, Danza Azteca Xochiquetzal brings the powerful artistry of traditional Aztec dance to the stage. Through vibrant regalia, live rhythm, and ceremonial movement, the group honors Indigenous traditions passed down through generations while sharing the beauty and spirit of Mexican cultural heritage with the community.

Una cara reconocida dentro de la comunidad latina de Memphis, Horacio Méndez es una personalidad de medios, conductor de eventos y promotor cultural con años de experiencia colaborando con medios de comunicación en español en Memphis. Conocido por su energía, carisma y cercanía con la comunidad, Horacio se ha convertido en una figura reconocida participando como maestro de ceremonias y ayudando a unir a las personas a través del entretenimiento y la cultura.
Apasionado por preservar y compartir las tradiciones latinas, Horacio también impulsa el crecimiento de la cumbia en Memphis a través de clases de baile y actividades comunitarias. En Overton Park Shell, llevará su entusiasmo y experiencia al escenario como maestro de ceremonias e instructor de cumbia, creando una experiencia interactiva para que la comunidad baile, aprenda y celebre unida.
A familiar face in Memphis’ Latino community, Horacio Méndez is a media personality, event host, and cultural advocate with years of experience working with local Spanish-language media outlets. Known for his energy, charisma, and connection with the community, Horacio has become a recognizable voice at events across Memphis, serving as an MC and helping bring people together through entertainment and culture.
Passionate about preserving and sharing Latin traditions, Horacio is also helping grow the love for cumbia in Memphis through dance instruction and community engagement. At Overton Park Shell, he will bring his enthusiasm and expertise to the stage as both MC and cumbia instructor, creating an interactive experience that invites the community to dance, learn, and celebrate together.
