Introduced in June 2022, Shell on Wheels extends the Overton Park Shell's mission by bringing performing arts programming to Memphis and Shelby County neighborhoods. The mission of Shell on Wheels is to amplify the work of Memphis creatives and arts organizations, making performing arts accessible from our historic stage to your backyard.

We understand the importance of a seamless experience, which is why we offer a turnkey solution that takes care of every aspect of bringing your event to life!
Launched in July 2023, the Mobile Shell redefines accessibility to the arts, traversing the city with cultural vibrancy.
The Mobile Shell is a dynamic vehicle for community engagement with events in any outdoor space, making it the perfect solution to bringing live music to your next corporate event, family gathering, nonprofit fundraising event, festival, and more.

The Terry and Cathy Lynch Community Access Fund ensures that community organizations throughout Memphis and Shelby County have access to Shell on Wheels and the Mobile Shell, regardless of their budget size or capabilities.
